SEPTIC SYSTEM INSPECTION
Choosing a skilled craftsman of the trade can mean the difference between gaining complete knowledge and confidence about the septic system of the home (or business) you are buying and not knowing about potential issues and problems that may exist. I personally perform the inspection and provide an accurate and unbiased report of the septic system.
DOES BLACKWATER PUMP SEPTIC TANKS?
Blackwater Solutions subcontracts all of the septic pumping performed during an inspection or with the process of repairing the septic system. Although Blackwater does not offer direct pumping services to customers, I have contacts with the best professional pumpers in the areas that I service. Blackwater can refer you to the right pumper in your area.
SEPTIC TANK & DISTRIBUTION BOX REPLACEMENT
A repair permit from the local environmental health department is required when replacing the septic tank. Distribution box replacement does not require oversight from the local health department.
LIFT STATION REPAIR
Don't panic if your septic system has a high water alarm. Most control panels have an alarm silence button or hand image placement feature on the side that will silence the noise. The red light will continue to flash if the high water level is still present. You should have a reserve space above the high water level to allow for sparing water use until a certified on-site contractor can resolve the issue.
SEPTIC SYSTEM REPAIR
A repair basically starts with pumping the septic tank and distribution box to facilitate drier conditions to perform repairs. Sludge or roots that are present in the system are removed. A new distribution box is installed along with new connections to drain lines. At the septic tank outlet, a pvc t-baffle is installed to prevent solids from directly entering the distribution box. Hydro jetting is used to flush solids from the drain lines. Old connections from the home are checked and replaced if deteriorated. Clean it up real good and use it for many more years.
WELL WATER PANEL
Well water sample is taken from a properly constructed well. Well that needs repair is brought up to code prior to taking water sample. Well water panel meets FHA / VA reporting requirements for total coliform bacteria, E. coli bacteria, metals (lead, iron, manganese) nitrate and nitrite, pH and turbidity. Results take 4 business days.
